Information on Hawaii

I lived in Hawaii for a year and a
half after being inspired with a dream that I had one night. I dreamed
of a beautiful blue ocean, a calm breeze, and palm trees. The very next
day, I started doing research on places to live close to a beach. My
research showed me that Hawaii was the best place for me at least for
the short-term.
What I first did was go online to places like Career builder and Monster
to find out what types of jobs were available in Hawaii. I found plenty
of jobs that were available in the travel and customer service industry.
After turning in my resume and applying for these jobs, I had several
interviews over the phone. Although some of the employers were hesitant
that I was not in Hawaii, I ended up accepting a position in customer
service.
Then, I had to find out where I was going to live. The best resource
that I found was Craigslist. I found shared housing in places that were
close to my future workplace with public transportation.
I was hesitant
to send a deposit online to one of the homeowners who insisted on
payment before I arrived to the island. What I decided to do was
actually make a reservation at the YMCA, and I stayed in the dorm rooms
for a week until I was able to find a home to live in. It was a really
interesting experience living in Hawaii, and I hope that you will enjoy
